About Me

My photo
Shane Viper
My life's journey to this point has taken me to some beautiful places but nowhere is as enchanting as Tasmania. As soon as I stepped of the Spirit of Tasmania I knew I was home. I love driving around this magnificent state, with all its natural beauty and charm, discovering the out of the way places. It seems that with every bend in the road there is something new to see, even if I have passed that point many times before. I have had an interest in photography for most of my life but it is only recently that I have begun to explore my world through the lens. The camera is a part of that and most times I can be seen wandering around with it around my neck or across my shoulder and quite often it is stuck to my face as I view the scenes before me through the viewfinder. I like to mainly capture landscapes and find the overall scene to be most pleasing. I will quite often take Panorama style images. In saying that I also enjoy getting up close and personal and can be found bum in the air if something small catches my eye. I love to share what I see and I hope that the feeling I am experiencing at the time comes through in the beautiful vistas I shoot.
